Wedding catering — FAQs
How much does wedding catering cost in Johannesburg?
Most of our weddings land between R280 and R550 per person depending on menu style (buffet, plated or family-style), guest numbers and staffing. That includes far more than food — setup, serving staff and coordination are part of the package. WhatsApp us your date and guest count for an exact quote.
Do you do menu tastings?
Yes — once you have a shortlisted menu we arrange a tasting so you can taste exactly what your guests will eat before you commit.
Can you cater traditional wedding food?
Absolutely. We cater traditional South African wedding menus alongside international and fusion menus, and we are happy to combine both across courses — something we do often for multicultural weddings.
Do you provide tables, linen and staff too?
Yes. We can organise the full setup: tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, serving staff and bar service — plus live entertainment through our partner Mark Beeling. One coordinator manages it all.
Which venues and areas do you work in?
Any venue across Johannesburg, Sandton, Midrand, Pretoria and the wider Gauteng area — marquees, gardens, halls and private homes. We know most of the popular venues and their kitchens well after 30 years.
How far ahead should we book?
Popular season dates (September–December, March–April) are often booked 6–12 months out. Get your quote early — confirming your date costs nothing until you accept it.
